Tetracycline Antibacterial Extra Strength 500mg - 10 Capsules

Tetracycline is a synthetic broad spectrum antibiotic medication used to treat different strains of bacteria that can afflict your freshwater fish. Tetracycline is mostly effective against gram-positive bacterial pathogens of fish.

Important Note: Antibiotic medications can kill beneficial nitrifying bacteria so it is recommended to add nitrifying bacteria after treatment. When treating an entire aquarium always keep a close eye on tank inhabitants for any signs of stress. If any signs of stress are visible, do a water change, turn on UV sterilizer and add activated carbon to help remove medication.

Treatment:

One Tetracycline 500mg capsule treats 10 gallons of water.

Treatment lasts 5 days (Note: You only add treatment once, not everyday).

It is recommended to do a water change after the 5 day treatment. 

Please Note: You will need one Capsule per 10 gallons of water.

Directions:

• Turn off UV Sterilizer.
• Remove activated carbon.
• Pull apart one capsule per 10 gallons of aquarium water and empty contents onto a piece of paper.
• Add contents to a bottle of aquarium water and mix until dissolved.
• Once dissolved, add in high flow area.
• Treatment lasts for 5 days.
