Ciprofloxacin is a synthetic broad spectrum antibiotic medication used to treat different strains of bacteria that can afflict your fish & corals. Ciprofloxacin is also effective against gram-negative and some gram-positive bacterial pathogens of fish.
Ciprofloxacin helps treat common fish bacterial infections such as fin rot, columnaris disease, gill disease, and dropsy. This medication also helps fight bacterial infections in saltwater fish and corals. Delivering quick results, ensuring your fish and corals recover rapidly.
Important Note: Antibiotic medications can kill beneficial nitrifying bacteria so it is recommended to add nitrifying bacteria after treatment. When treating an entire aquarium always keep a close eye on tank inhabitants for any signs of stress. If any signs of stress are visible, do a water change, turn on UV sterilizer and add activated carbon to help remove medication.

Treatment:
One Ciprofloxacin 500mg tablet treats 20 gallons of water.
Treatment lasts 7-10 days (Note: You only add treatment once, not everyday).
It is recommended to do a water change after the 7-10 day treatment.
Please Note: You will need one Tablet per 20 gallons of water.
Directions:
- Note: It is best to add treatment at night as lighting can diminish the effectiveness of the medication.
- Turn off UV Sterilizer.
- Remove activated carbon and Purigen. GFO and Phosban media can be used as it only removes phosphates.
- Add one tablet per 20 gallons into a bottle of aquarium water and mix until dissolved.
- Once dissolved, add in high flow area. It is best to add treatment at night as lighting can diminish the effectiveness of the medication.
- Treatment lasts for 7-10 days.
Important Note: When treating an entire aquarium always keep a close eye on tank inhabitants for any signs of stress. If any signs of stress are visible, do a water change, turn on UV sterilizer and add activated carbon to help remove medication.
