Erythromycin is a synthetic broad spectrum antibiotic medication used to treat different strains of bacteria that can afflict your fish & corals. Erythromycin is also effective against gram-positive and some gram-negative bacterial pathogens of fish.
Important Note: Antibiotic medications can kill beneficial nitrifying bacteria so it is recommended to add nitrifying bacteria after treatment. When treating an entire aquarium always keep a close eye on tank inhabitants for any signs of stress.
